With a new year comes new hope that 2021 will be kinder to us all than 2020 and that we are able to return to some sense of normalcy. While we know that the pandemic is far from over, we are also cautiously optimistic about the months ahead. Based on the fact that the governor has allowed mitigation orders to expire we will begin allowing our athletic teams to practice starting tomorrow 1/5/21. However, we will not be participating in any competitions or events with other schools until our students return to our buildings either in hybrid or full face-to-face instruction.
We will remain in full remote instruction through January 22nd. It remains our goal to return to the hybrid model of instruction on 1/25/21 at the change of the marking period.
Cambria County remains in the substantial transmission designation and please know that we will continue to prioritize the health and safety of our communities by continuing to require masking, social distancing, enhanced cleaning protocols and strategies to increase ventilation.
