Dear PC Middle School Families,
We currently have experienced an increase in COVID related cases and quarantines at Penn Cambria Middle School with three cases on our current 14-day rolling average. As a proactive measure, the middle school will move to full remote instruction on Friday, April 9, 2021. This only impacts the middle school building. All other buildings will be open and operating on a normal schedule.
We plan for students to return to the middle school for face-to-face instruction on Monday, April 12th.
Middle School students should log in to Canvas to get the Zoom schedule and lessons for the day. The lessons and schedule will be available by 8 am in Canvas. All work is due by Sunday evening.
All middle school extra-curricular activities, including practices, are canceled for Thursday April 8th and Friday April 9th.
After-school tutoring is canceled for tonight, April 8th.
Weekend meal distribution will take place as regularly scheduled with pick up outside the middle school.
We ask all families to continue to screen students daily for symptoms. Please do not send the student to school if symptoms are present. Thank you for your continued cooperation.
