Dear Penn Cambria Families,

As a follow up to our November 3, 2020 communication related to a positive COVID-19 case at Penn Cambria Pre-Primary School,  we have consulted with the PA Department of Health and the Department of Health is working to communicate with any persons who were determined to be close contacts and should quarantine.

Out of an abundance of caution, all students in the impacted classroom will remain in a remote learning model through November 13th and return to face-to-face instruction on November 16th.  The classroom teacher has already been in contact with families and set up remote learning procedures.

As a reminder, it is critically important that all families continue to monitor for COVID symptoms and to stay home when symptoms are present.  If you unsure about when your child should return to school, please contact our school nursing offices for additional information.

We state this often, but we truly appreciate the continued cooperation and patience of our families and our staff!

Sincerely,

William W. Marshall
Superintendent
Penn Cambria School District
